Support the Prairie City Rescue Association

Published: Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 9:27 a.m. CST

Hello everyone,

We want to make sure everyone knows about the Prairie City Rescue Association Incorporated. Prairie City’s Fire Department volunteers and the ambulance crew have begun a nonprofit organization for the sole purpose of raising money for the needs of the fire department and EMS.

If you would like to donate to the fire department please make checks payable to the Prairie City Rescue Association — Fire, or if you would like to donate to the ambulance, please make checks payable to Prairie City Rescue Association — EMS. Checks can be mailed to Prairie City Rescue Assoc; P.O. Box 191, Prairie City, Iowa 50228 or brought to Shomo-Madsen-Umble Insurance just west of Goldie’s form 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Prairie City Rescue Association is run entirely by volunteers. All donations are tax deductible and every penny will be put to good use by Prairie City’s Fire or ambulance crews. We also want to thank everyone who has already donated to PC Rescue. All of the donations, generous memorials and overwhelming support for the recent car show by the fire department and the annual Halloween Beggar’s Night Supper by the recent purchase of Prairie City’s ambulance and soon a power cot lift loader will make the ambulance ride better for the people on the way to the hospital and be helpful to the ambulance crew.

We are happy to answer any questions or provide you with information concerning Prairie City Rescue Association and please join us for the Halloween Beggar’s Night Supper at the fire station at city hall Monday night, Oct. 30. Free will donations and supper will be served from 5 to 8 p.m.

Melanie Umble

Prairie City Rescue Association Secretary/Treasurer
